Finding the Library

The Racine Public Library is located at Seventh St. and Lake Ave. in downtown Racine. The library is the brick building with the clock tower up the hill from the parking lots.

For directions to the library, call the Adult Services Department at (262) 636-9217. Google maps or Yahoo maps provide driving directions, but they do not take into account construction projects.

Parking

Access to the parking lots is from Sixth St., east of Lake Ave.

For the metered lot, turn right from Sixth St. onto Library Dr. The meters cost $.25 per hour. You will need to pay at the machine at the top of the library walk way. Ours of operation Monday - Saturday 8 am to 6 pm.

Parking Lot FAQ

The entrance to the gated lot is just past (east of) Library Dr. This lot provides unlimited parking for $1.50 per day. The gate requires $1 bills and/or quarters.

Free handicapped parking spaces are available in the metered lot and in the lot just behind (east of) Memorial Hall.
