| Battle of the Books | Facebook 101 | Family Night | Free Basic Computer Classes | Free Tutoring | Golden Book Collection | Library Employment Opportunity | Nook 101 | U.S. IMPACT Study, Opportunity for All: How the American Public Benefits from Internet Access at U.S. Libraries | Racine Public Library Fiber Club | Family Night @ the Library - A world of Animals The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., along with the Racine Zoological Gardens, will be hosting a Family Night at the Library on December 15th at 6:30. The theme will be Animals of the World. During this animal encounter, you will get up close and personal with mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds and arthropods. Learn about various animal adaptations and conservation issues. This is a great program to "sample" all of the animal groups! This program is filled with live animals and animal artifacts, and is open to all ages. In addition, there will be a simple craft. The library is seeking donations of Golden Books published in Racine, WI to build on its current collection. The library has been able to obtain about 400 of the nearly 1000 published in this area.
