After School Math Club

The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh Street, is offering students in second through seventh grades an After School Math Club from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Monday nights beginning January 23rd and continuing through June 4th.

Golden Book Collection

The library is seeking donations of Golden Books published in Racine, WI to build on its current collection.  The library has been able to obtain about 400 of the nearly 1000 published in this area.  If you or someone you know has Golden Books to donate, please contact the library at 262.636.9217. Learn French

The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., invites children ages 5-10 and their parents to learn French. Join us Wednesday, June 20th from 2:00-3:00pm for a “French” experience. We will have a French lesson that includes learning vocabulary, a story, music, craft, and a special French refreshment. Our guest instructor is: Catherine Le Denmat. Registration is required. Learn Japanese

The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., invites children ages 5-10 and their parents to learn Japanese. Join us Wednesday, June 27th from 2:00-3:00pm for a Japanese lesson. Registration is required. Limited space available. To register, please call 262-636-9245.

Ruff Readers

The Racine Public Library, 75 7th Street, invites children in grades 1-5 to participate in the Ruff Readers program.  This program begins Tuesday, May 1st, and goes through  Thursday, June 7th.  On Monday-Thursday from 4:00-5:00 p.m., kids have a unique opportunity to spend 15 minutes reading to a non-judgemental listening dog.  Time slots are on first come/first serve basis.  To register:  visit the Youth Services Desk, or call 636-9245.

Summer Storytime

The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., invites children ages 0 to 5 to storytime.  Baby and Me  (and parent/guardian) storytimes will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00am June 19th-July 25th.  Preschool (ages 3-5) storytimes will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00am June 19th-July 25th. Registration not is required.
